Sentinell story image

“We were frustrated!”

That frustration became the starting point for Sentinell. We wanted a comb that was strong, timeless, and always with you. By shaping it to the size of a credit card, we made it slim enough to fit in any wallet, while the stainless steel ensures it will never bend or snap. The added bottle opener is a subtle detail — practical without compromising the clean design. Sentinell isn’t just a comb, it’s a pocket-sized accessory built to last a lifetime.

That first spark of frustration became the seed for Sentinell. We were tired of objects that broke, bent, or were forgotten at the bottom of a drawer. We wanted to create something different — something that would always stay with you. The comb was where it began: cut from stainless steel, shaped to the size of a credit card, discreet yet bold in its simplicity. A tool that doesn’t shout for attention, but quietly proves its worth day after day.

Our roots are in Scandinavia, where style has never been static. It changes with time, but always carries the same essence: minimal, functional, and unafraid of silence. In that tradition, we wanted to strip away the unnecessary and let only the essential remain. To us, design is not about decoration — it’s about trust. It’s about building objects that stand the test of both trend and time.

Sentinell is not just a comb. It is a reminder that the smallest things can carry the greatest meaning. That an accessory can be more than a tool — it can be a companion, a symbol of preparedness, a reflection of your own way of living.

We are also part of Ung Företagsamhet, Sweden’s Junior Achievement program. That means Sentinell is not only a brand, but also a learning journey. We are students exploring what it means to create, to lead, and to stand behind something we believe in. Our company is built on both vision and practice: the vision of timeless design, and the practice of entrepreneurship as a craft in itself.

For us, Sentinell is where Scandinavian aesthetics meet personal utility. It’s where frustration turns into invention, and where everyday life is elevated through objects built to last. This is just the beginning.
